Note: The installation of hair strainer is OPTIONAL. This part can be effective in grasping hair and debris. It is easy to install by removing the drain grate, then place it into the drain hole of the drain channel (please refer to the Shower Drain Installation Instructions). However, as hair and debris build up, the strainer has to be cleaned from time to time to ensure water drains out properly.
