Drains Unlimited Tile Insert Wall-Mounted Linear Drain for Near Wall Large Walk-In Showers

The Drains Unlimited tile insert perimeter linear drain is engineered for high-end along-the-wall installation, delivering a seamless architectural finish for luxury showers. Installed flush against the wall surface, this system creates a continuous visual transition that integrates naturally with tile or stone.

Unlike standard floor drains, this wall-adjacent linear drain eliminates the thin, often problematic strip of tile between the back wall and the drain. Positioned directly at the perimeter of the shower floor, it simplifies waterproofing transitions and enhances the clean, geometric flow of the installation.

Installation & Flange Configurations

Available in two flange options to accommodate specific shower layouts:

• Backwall Return Flange
  Optimized for curbed and curbless showers with 1/8"–3/8" wall tile thickness.
• Three-Side Return Flange
  Designed for wall-to-wall installations using 1/8"–3/8" wall tiles.

• No-hub coupling installation with a 2-3/8" outside diameter outlet

Waterproofing & Substrates

The integrated textured bonding flange ensures secure membrane adhesion and compatibility with major bonded waterproofing systems, including Schluter, Laticrete, Mapei, and Blanke Aqua-Shield. Suitable for liquid and fabric membranes and any tile or slab format.

Approved Substrates: Concrete, cement mortar beds, cement backer board, pre-slope foam shower pans, and interior-grade plywood.

Note: Drain sizes are measured at the outer edge of the flange. The visible grate is approximately 2" shorter.
